I think it's safe to say they didn't do themselves any favors as far as attracting businesses and new permanent residents. That's much more important in determining their future than police effectiveness IMO, but that will hurt also.

I'm sure there wasn't a lengthy waitlist to move to Ferguson anyway, but whatever they did have to offer has pretty much been cancelled out.

Seriously, who the hell would want to move to Ferguson?

I would.

Hang a shingle down the street from the protests.

$300 flat fee to sue the police department or city council for whatever you want.

We have an installment plan and we are located in a strip mall next door to a payday loans.

a couple of things can happen:

1. St.Louis County PD takes over, and they run things.

2. The morons vote in idiots, and they begin to destroy a city that wasnt bad, it had a lower income area, but was surviving white flight. And the City turns in Wellston, Mo
