This average running back almost had 1000 yards last year while missing about 5 games or so. Had 805 yards from week 8 on. If he plays those 5 games he should have easily had 1200-1300 yards. Which puts him right behind Marshawn Lynch who just got a big payday. Not to mention he ran behind our injury riddled o-line and he became a pretty dang good pass blocker the last half of the season. So I think we got a steal on that contract.

Here's an example of the wrong logic.

In his four years in NO, he has played 16 games once.

You compare him to Lynch, so I will too. In the last 4 years, Lynch missed one game (back in 2011).

You are looking for reliability in the RB position, and Ingram needs to figure out how to stay healthy. That would solidify this deal.
