Unfortunately, yes. Two bouts with cancer and the chemo treatments combined have left me with very bad neoropathy in both feet. My feet are in constant pain from the ankle down and my toes feel like they are rigid metal extensions. I can barely bend them.

That is the "minor" nerve damage. The 2nd bout I had a tumor the size of a 20 oz bottle wrapped around my lower spine. So dense they could not even see any nerve roots connecting to my spine on the scan. The groin and quad muscles in my right leg.....basically everything to the knee.....will not generate any muscle growth due to nerve damage. My leg from my knee up to my thigh looks like a 90 year old man leg. I can only slow jog before my leg buckles. My walking gait is unaffected though....thank God. It has been 28 months since they relieved my spine of that mass and I have no idea if those nerves will ever re-generate to activate muscle growth again. I am hopeful.

In the meantime, I have accepted the daily pain as a new normal. Mornings are the worse due to stiffness of not moving over many hours. Most of the pain is in my lower back around where the tumor was located and relating to the mass of scar tissue that grew in the void.
