Let's not kid ourselves. When we needed Colston most last year, he failed us. Fumble in game 1 and multiple drops at awful times. He also got a bunch of junk yards when we were getting our shite kicked in.
Don't get me wrong I am glad he's back because I think he can turn it around, but let's not sugarcoat his poor play as a #1.

He wasn't and hasn't been our number one for years now. Jimmy has clearly been that guy(the most targeted every year since 2011) and we spread the ball around a ton.
The three problems with Colston are that he's making number one money despite being the second or third option, he has a problem with drops from time to time(I thought he had less most years but he actually has dropped at least 8 a year outside of two years not counting his rookie year which isn't on PFF), and he has a fumbling problem.
But his positives outweigh the negatives by far and as long as he isn't costing us number one money he is well worth the price.
