That would be foolish, because Spain is a fantastic country. Madrid is easily one of my top 3 favorite places that I've visited. Barcelona is fantastic too. It's also very reasonably priced for western Europe.


I'd like to back other posters who mentioned Fat Tire Bike Tours. I have not done their Paris tour, but did a tour with them in Barcelona and loved it. Paris is nice, but it's a big city. I just personally think there are better places to see in Europe. I'm actually headed to Lyon, Marseilles, and Bordeaux in a couple of months. Renting a car and driving through the south of France.

This just makes me want to skip out on Istanbul even more(people im traveling with want to make the trip)

this is the first im hearing of Fat tire bike tours(I figured they would have bike tours) but what makes them so special? And are they offered in most cities?
