If you own in a community with an HOA and don't get on the board you are SSOOOOOO dumb! The guy in the video I posted went around and got enough proxy signatures to straight up take over the HOA!
I would suggest the OP look over his HOA bylaws with an attorney and figure out some way to do something similar if possible.
