8th grade basketball. We were playing our rival in our home gym and the place was packed. I was amped up. Couple minutes into the game, we fouled one of the guys hard. He shoots his free throws. On the second one it clangs off the rim and I box out my guy for the rebound. Adrenaline pumping I lost my fricking mind; i immediately shot the ball back into the hoop. Yep. I scored in OUR goal for the other team. I remember the jeers and laughter in that gym. I was so embarrassed. Luckily we won the game and it wasn't even close. Everyone seemed to let it go since we won so handily. I ended up having a pretty decent game despite my frick up.

How does this happen so often?!?! We had this happen in 7th grade, and I feel everyone has a story about this happening on their team.
