Yup, some fly low as hell in north bossier.

Yeah, I'm in south east shreveport and see them all the time. Bummer the a-10's aren't around anymore. They always gave me a sense of safety

Don't know where in north Bossier you're talking about, but it is likely that you are seeing jets in the traffic pattern for Barksdale. If you are familiar with the water tower on Benton Road north of I-220, that is about the Final Approach Fix for the ILS approach to Runway 15 at Barksdale. We cross the that point at 1800 feet above sea level (about 1600 feet above the ground). Also as a point of reference, at that point we are only flying about 160 Knots.

With that last bit in mind, imagine seeing a BUFF fly a real low-level route at 500 feet above the ground at 360 Knots!
