re: Why are people with blue collar jobs looked down upon?

My two bro n laws are construction guys--build houses. They make good money but they do have a chip on their shoulders about college grads. I think it's a self-esteem issue.
I respect and admire anyone who works hard. This goes for the sociology grads who end up killing it in sales. I just wouldn't go around bragging about my useless degree.
