nd now he's bringing in the#1 player in the country and heir apparent to LeBron

And people will want to see IMMEDIATE results and aside from Chris Jackson and Shaq, no freshman has lived up to the hype -- not even Swift nor Bass nor G. Davis. I am speaking on the want of IMMEDIATE game-changing results. Simmons will average 12-15 ppg next season and that will greatly be unappreciated by the masses of "fans" who want 25 ppg and 12 rpg...hell, mix in 8-9 assists a game.

he impact of those guys on our program will be staggering and college basketball nation is already preparing for it

Too bad JM will leave, ill-advised and possibly even Martin. If both do leave then I highly doubt the nation will be staggered by Hornsby, Quarterman, Gray, Simmons, and Malone as the November starting 5.

struggling with the pressure of expectations changing and a bunch of role players who are required to produce consistently at a high level which they are clearly not ready to do

If you are speaking on behalf of Grey, he's not a role player. He was asked/demanded to be the starting point guard and score in double-figures. He was asked to be better than Hickey. Quarterman is the only role player who averages quality minutes and he's over-produced what we thought he would. Who is not ready as a "role player"? Malone? His role is to stand tall and get lucky every once in a while.

ou can blame the coach for giving Malone, Odo and Robinson the opportunity to play at LSU in lieu of guys with less upside but more prepared to contribute, but it was a pick your poison type of situation

Odo has been on the team long enough to now develop. He clearly has not and is one of the worst bigs we have had since Tuba Player. I will blame Coach Jones for wasting our time with what is essentially three 7 footers who collect dust on the bench. "Picking a poison" is embracing or accepting excuses. You coach them up or you do not, but it's no wonder the turnover rate is as bad as it was when Brady was here. A lot of that is on TJ as well, but JJ has had three years. Robinson, to not even get into an SEC game, must be getting GREAT coaching, eh? He'll likely transfer.

We will always be a fun team to watch and attract nba talent because Coach Jones will not overcoach his teams

That has been our M.O. since 1990. Jones may want to reevaluate going after "NBA talent" and start building a team.

He has a better record than our previous coach who was c.o.t.y. in two different conferences.

New Jersey Tech's head coach has a better record in conference than his predecessor. Trent Johnson was terrible and you know it. That's not a difficult feat for JJ to pull off, when it comes to "winning more games."

I hate to say it, but Brady was the best COACH of the game we have had during the four coach era.
