WORST ADVICE EVER. This is like a JV coach saying "don't worry about fundamentals ". The small petty fights are where you build your game. You fight these fights and get better at fighting fights so when the big ones come, you've got your game down to muscle memory.
When a relationship comes to full fruition and you're ready to settle in divorce court, who do you think wins? The guy who didn't fight or the guy who spent the time to figure out his opponent's weaknesses?

It's irrelevant who is right though, you shouldn't fight over the petty stuff.
1. this
2. thaw is correct.
3. dethaw
A confusing conjunction of "defrost" and "thaw". Has a corresponding etymology to unthaw. Literally it means to refreeze, however, it has never actually been used correctly in conversation. Ever. In fact, it is always used to mean the opposite- a synonym for thaw. Just say thaw, not dethaw, not unthaw, just thaw.
