My wife broke under 6 minutes in the first mile of a 5k. I used to be able to barely break 8 minutes

Time to start running again I guess

That is amazingly impressive! I'm not that connected to the running community anymore but when I was I knew less than 10 local females capable of hitting sub 6 minute splits in races. Pretty much all of them had college running experience.
