You'd rather play a tougher opponent and reduce the home schedule by one game in order to play a neutral site game that yields a financially neutral result in the name of marketing and branding? Something doesn't seem to make sense. It's not just recruiting and marketing that compels us to make a decision that's revenue neutral. Is LSU not telling us the truth about what its pulling it for home games anymore? Also, like it or not but the local economy is impacted by a smaller home slate. I just don't understand how they can ask everyone from Season Ticket holders to suite owners to pay the same money-if not more-for less of a product. It's a defacto method of increasing ticket prices and lowering their own overhead when they hold a home game. Just a fleecing by another means.

The fact of the matter is that LSU is a business and should be run as such.

If LSU did not schedule these neutral site games, do you think the price of attending LSU sporting events would be the same as it is now?
