Yeah Bidwells (owners of the Cards) originally wanted stadium in Scottsdale or downtown PHX, but I don't think either city wasn't willing to pay what they were wanting for it. Glendale made this big push to have stadium there. So really...they only have themselves to bitch to with it. They should have always known that Glendale will NEVER be a tourist destination. It's just too far away and really nothing to do. The Westgate area near it isn't horrible, but it's basically all they have nearby besides a new Tanger outlet mall you can shop at.
