Have you ever heard Chris Kyle speak? Cooper was mostly spot on
I don't get the accent hate... As a country boy myself, I thought the accent was believable... Perhaps over the top on a couple of instances.

I'm a stickler when it comes to southern accents in movies and TV shows, but Cooper's really wasn't that bad.
Nicholas Cage in Con Air was the GOAT horrible accent.
