I'm a Franks fan, no reason to trash either one.
They are both great recruits....

I'm not trashing Patterson. Kid is a beast and is about as refined a high school QB you'll find. I want both of them. But I don't like the lack of appreciation for Feliepe on this board. It seems like we have 5 Shea Patterson threads a week and they'll have someone in the thread spouting off about how Miles can't recruit top QBs and that's why Shea isn't committed when we already have one. We always talk about how a kid should be loyal to the school they committed to, but shouldn't it be the other way too? Shouldn't we as fans be loyal to the recruit that already realized LSU is the best place for him?

He's right. His wording is crude, but I agree with him. People seemed to have blinded by Louisiana homerism and would toss an elite prospect we already have out in favor of another who's not even for sure coming here. It's messed up. I would like to have either, but I'm always in favor of the ones who want to wear P&G which is Franks.
