because most Jews on earth were in ghettos in Europe for 100's of years, and rarely married outside their tribe, those EURO Jews are considered the most homogenous gene pool of all peoples. the trouble comes in distinguishing Jewish religion from the Ashkenazi Jews of northern Europe, who are the people who are the homogeneous gene pool. OBVIOUSLY, there are black and north African racial combinations who practice Judaism. And that is why a poster challenged whether "Jewish" is a race. Judaism is a religion.
