One, an nfl official almost always have their hands on the balls at the beginning and end of every play. These guys handle balls all the time and at record levels on Monday night. Could they not tell the difference? This is such a farce

It's not the officials damn job. They have seconds to spot the ball, throw in a new ball or use same ball, and correctly place the ball on a hash mark or where it needs to be spotted. Not once are they ever squeezing the ball like a player does. Every throw is underhand and most of them are wearing gloves in cold, rainy environments. Your argument is ridiculous

Two, an nfl rep should be checking these things throughout the games

No, it is not their job. The teams are responsible for the management of their own footballs. End of story. It's a rule that's been in place for years.

This is the second time this regime has been caught cheating (who knows how many other times they have cheated and got away with it) the game trying to gain a competitive advantage.
