I lived there for several years, and my mom still lives on the East side, so I still visit. It's a shithole. Downtown is a little better with the ballpark and the Alley, but it doesn't make up for the wasteland that is most of Montgomery.

Drove through Montgomery on my way to the Masters in 13. There seemed to be an inordinate amount of bullet proof glass at the gas stations.
