By now we have to say he is what he is. Think of how many QBS were literally ready to play in the NFL after a little over a season of starting, Flynn, d.j. Shockley, and Newton are examples.
We would have seen flashes of real talent if he had significant upside. We saw those flashes with Harris even though he did screw the pooch in his only start.

Flynn and Shockley were both Seniors. Cam Newton was the best player in CFB as a Junior.
Jennings was a true sophomore.
