One thing I like about Saban, he has both of his coordinators coaching from the sidelines. Someone else is up in the coaches' box giving them the info they need to do their job.
Particularly on offense, think about it. Play comes out of the box, goes to the HC and one of the assistants who wait to see if HC is going to over-ride or not, then play goes from sidelines to field. Once everyone is lined up, the same shite happens on the check-off, and the QB is losing time that he needs because he is waiting for instructions. Have the coordinators on the sidelines calling, and things move a bit faster. Also, coordinators can be more effective in their coaching from the sidelines than over a set of headphones from the box.

The other thing i read on TD somewhere was that during that WVU game he started calling D's that were not even in the book.....they were from some other time period in his coaching career. Was this a stroke or TIA?
I hoping the rest of the staff can collaborate on the D. I hope its not too complicated.
I just thought the box may help him
