Have you ever had an extremely stressful job? Probably not but those that have can tell you that for some the decision to work for less pay and less stress is a tradeoff they are willing to take. No one but Steele and Saban know why that was done. I don't claim to know either but I do know that when you have the control over a program that Nick has you don't keep someone around and pay them what he was paid for nothing.
And if this guy can give us some insight as to how the Alabama recruiting machine is run that has allowed them to do what they do and not violate NCAA rules, or at least not get caught, then I want him on my side.

You have no idea what I do for a living so don't assume.
Even if steele voluntarily took the demotion, guess what? ?? He's gonna be the dc here, which will be the same job that you are wildly assuming he took a demotion from because of the stress.
Not only are you assuming he voluntarily demoted himself, now he's back in the same position.
People are saying he's a good recruiter and I hope that's true but he's been underwhelming as a DC and a head coach. I hope he does a better job this time around but LSU should've landed a guy with a better resume as a DC than Steele
