re: Any vets up? Dog just had a seizure

Our lab had his 1st seizure around 12 yrs. Just kept him calm, rested & hydrated after each and made sure he was breathing well and had good motor functions. Just lost hmm last year at 15 yrs

Brought him in just for the ride when kitty had his annual exam. Vet looked at the way his back legs moved (or didn't) and said it was time. Some neurological thing that would eventually paralyze his esophagus and he would die from inability to breathe.

Long story - get him checked by vet. Probably ok as long as he can breathe and move properly. Watch him long term and ask vet what to look for.
