When someone has lived in a city for any period of time there are going to be things you find that are detestable but I propose this...find the good things in the city and stop wasting so much time finding the bad.
Your fossil fuel driven job brought you here and by your own admission its either here or Texas and you prefer it here.
Cue the cynical insult rant which is the MO of a lot of people posting on here have fun with that.
And 10 years ago it was evident law school students would be flooding the market by 2008 with no end in sight so your friends made ill advised decisions toward their futures.
