Because the players are playing for their fricking job. It's a moot point. As a fan, I hoped we lost.

We've been clear we understand why the players have. In that case, why not play the backups then? See what they have and play for their job.

No doubt. The thread was because some were acting like you were only a true fan if you wanted the Saints to win a meaningless game today. I thought the true fans were thinking long term and wanted higher draft picks every round. Most agreed with me. Some didn't. It doesn't matter, like you said it's done.
