Politicians have done a wonderful job of sensitizing the public to these terms, "terrorism", "hate crime" etc, and applying them at need to help make themselves look like public heroes. It's been a great asset for them to keep the public aroused, outraged and ready to turn over their freedom to big brother in the name of "keeping the chillerns safe", it's like the lunatic left and the neocon right can never get enough of any of this.

I'd argue a premeditated 'hate crime' is closer to terrorism than Mike Brown or the looting in the aftermath.

I haven't really seen anything solid on what actually happened to the girl in Mississippi.
