re: spinoff: Why is game of Golf dying? What is the cause?

My opinion: Snobbish elitist players make it difficult for new players to learn the game by bitching about how long it takes new players to move from hole to hole, as well as bitching about course etiquette that many new people may not know.

Golf is indeed dying. Fewer and fewer young people are interested in the game.

Question is why and how does the golf industry plan to change that?
