But he could´ve done what he was apparently elected to do in a less retarded way. He did what he described as holding a vote on an executive action (regarding amnesty). Except that vote failed, it wasn´t even close. Depending on who you listen to, it either failed because he´d pissed everyone off so much (half his caucaus voted against him) or because the point of order which the vote actually held on, something any member of congress could have done at any time, was a nothing point that really held no relevance in the larger picture and was the congressional equivalent of calling someone out on a message board for poor grammar.

As a Texan, I don´t recall that being part of what I signed his paychecks for. The guy is an absolutely shameless publicity whore who has built this bizarre walter mitty fantasy narrative of himself as the one man challenging all the waste and corruption of big government.

He is going to get torn a new one next year in the primaries. The question is whether the true believers will be further spun when he somehow blames everyone else (government, RINOs/¨the establishment¨ etc) for his abject failure.
