You're not paying attention to what I'm saying...
Those players are not better athletes (probably, but I can't say for sure), but they will always be more skilled. Why? Because they dedicate their childhoods to being world class soccer players.
That's what I'm saying won't happen. That takes two-fold dedication: (1) Parents wanting it; (2) kids wanting it.
You may get one or the other in America, but given the other sports and the "jack of all trades" youth sports approach in this country, you won't get both.
Leads to my point...their equally athletic players will always be better than ours.
