Well, Beckham has the stats, skill set, and wow factor to go up against all of those guys. With worse quarterback play than most of them.

Going into today, Eli had the ninth most attempts and a 62.9% completion percentage. He is throwing more than enough volume to succeed. Eli is having a better season than Dalton. Stafford has not been great this season either. Beckham is far from the only really good receiver without a top QB.

Due to the fact that Bob McAdoo implemented a west coast offense this season, we have seen Eli make higher percentage throws with a shorter amount of time in the pocket. As a result, his percentages have gone up, but his YPA has decreased accordingly. It helps explain the high catch rate on his targets, but of course, it also means that Beckham is damn good.

Even though he has been as good as about any receiver over the past seven games, this is still crazy premature. Josh Gordon did not dethrone Calvin and the like and he had sick stretches. Mike Evans had a disgusting three-game stretch this year.

There is no way you cannot definitively tell that me Calvin, Dez, AJ, Julio, Brown, etc. could not do what Beckham is doing if they were in the same situation. Dude is in a perfect spot to put up numbers even though he has Eli at the helm. He has zero competition for the ball.
