It was weird - we'd call people on the land lines and ask if they were up to anything. If they weren't there, we'd just assume they were busy and moved on with our lives without the need of 24/7 connectivity to the rest of the world.

The day I retire is the day I cancel my cell phone plan and toss the phone into the river. If I'm not at home, frick off. I'm busy. :cant wait:
