He was a bust plain and simple. Getting drafted does not mean success. It's what you do and your longevity in the league. Ryan Leaf was the biggest draft bust of all time and he was #1 or #2 overall. Joe was drafted in the 4th round and has failed to make any consistent meaningful impact on a team, and is no longer with any team. An example of a player who career is good, but not the expectation level that was expected is Reggie bush. Bush wasn't Marshall Faulk all over, but he was a great contributor to every team he's been on, and has longevity in the NFL (8 years).

You are an idiot if you think him busting in the NFL means LSU couldn't have used him. That means tha LSU's list of busts include Matt Mauk, Rohan Davey, Joseph Addai, Josh Reed, Chad Lavalais, Glenn Dorsey, etc.
Go ask Washington State if Leif was a bust to them.. What they do in the NFL has nothing to do with whether or not they're a bust to LSU or any college. Just getting to the NFL usually means they didn't bust in college dipshit.

Once again a-hole, I was talking on pro level since draft status, whether he was still on a team, and making money was brought into the conversation. He was a decent college player, and certainly LSU could have used him at college level. NFL wise he was/ is a bust.
