I make better cornbread than anyone I know.
I love my grilled cheese and Campbell's Tomato soup.

On topic, there are some things I cook that I knock out of the park. Everyone loves, craves, and looks forward to eating if they know I'm cooking it. As far as going into a kitchen or pantry and just coming up with something based on the ingredients, and then cooking it without a recipe, that's where I fall short. So, I guess by definition, that makes me mediocre, or just a tick above.
