Does reading comprehension escape you? It said proud of the ones making a difference. Was I talking about someone like that?
I was talking about people who make a difference in their community, the ones you don't hear about. The ones whose voices won't be heard over the media's need for a story

You are posting in a Michael Brown thread. Your very first post actually. Arguing with posters in here. So you are saying you agree he was a criminal? That assaulted a police officer and tried to take his weapon?

So the media's need for a story has NOTHING to do with the black community's overwhelming support of Michael Brown?

I know what you mean, SS, like the thousands of cops, of all stripes, white, black, latino, asian, etc., who have to strap on, armor up and gird their loins to go and ATTEMPT to police fricked up barrios in East L.A., housing projects/demilitarized zones in Chicago and the South Bronx, and trailer parks/meth labs in Middlesboro, Kentucky, who don't engage in police brutality and, in fact, want to try to make things a little bit safer for that school kid, single mom or young man working at McDonald's, who are stuck in that shite with no way out - protect those people from "gentlemen" like Michael Brown?

Are those some of the people who are making a difference in their community that you don't hear about? Is that who you're talking about?

You have failed to understand what I wrote. You said blah, blah, blah. I love .. yes, you read it right, LOVE those people. Raised in a very dark community. There has never been a time in gramps life that I wasn't around people of color. BUT I see so many pulling off this crazy shite over a frickin LIE. You expect me to see all black people to fit into the good category? Sorry, but that ain't happening. They all look alike now.

Go clean your own house. Maybe my grandkids will trust your people more. You have already ruined it for me ... and my kids.
