you brought up good point on skin. i tend to baste my breasts to retain moisture, but it just makes the skin useless.

I got on last Saturday at academy. They are on sale for 80 bucks. Already done a boston butt and a couple chicken so far. Everything has been pretty good

Yep and with a bird that big, if you don't have someone constantly basting, it's going to turn to leather. That's why I suggested the oven option because you can definitely help keep some of that moisture.
