The state of our welfare laws is an obvious variable in the formation of our immigration laws.

That was not a variable in 1790 so to bring up immigration laws from then and try to apply them to today's standards is foolish.

All these people who came to America in our parents / grandparents / great-grandparents era didn't expect shite when they got here.

Now we have these assholes who expect us to just give them free shite when they get here.

The EXPECT it because our leaders allow this shite to happen.
