I had to file a police report with NOPD for a lost cell phone to satisfy the insurance company. Course, they aren't really that busy catching murderers, apparently, so I guess it didn't do any harm.

I had a GPS stolen when I lived in the 7th ward. They broke my window and took it. I called the cops. They never showed. Then I called them again the next day. When they got to my house the interrogated me as to why it took so long for me to call them. Then they took fingerprints. I thought that was the dumbest fricking thing in the world. What for? Like they were gonna catch the guy ?!? I think it was just a show of force for the neighborhood, because you know, if you live in a black neighborhood they're all criminals, right?
