Meh, I've heard this before and I just don't find it rings true...the Columbo comparison.
I've seen him speak in many different forums many times and I don't find that big a difference. I think he is what you see.
Which is fine as long as he keeps winning.

I didn't believe it either until I heard him speak to the local group in Shreveport. He sounded like a different person to me. From Clueless Les to almost Sabanesque. And I have heard him speak to the media before on rare occasions with such clarity that I wondered whether the rumors of him having to take medication for a physical condition might be true. He can sound very competent in more private settings and sound like a bumbling clown in more public arenas.
