Do you really want to to compare any of the modern wars to WWII when it comes to bloodshed and sacrifice? And I say that as a vet myself. Thankfully we don't know shite about what they had to go through compared to anything we've seen since Vietnam which even it was light compared to WWII.

No of course I don't want to try and compare/contrast. But to completely discount the fact that we've been in a 14 year war (Even though no one wants to call it that) is being awfully disingenuous
