Wait so TX(for example) won't accept my PE (once I get it) bc I would have taken the test early?

I don't think that's correct. I think what they're trying to say is TX won't view you as a licensed engineer until the time requirements are met, just like LA.

My original email was in regards to this paragraph from the email they sent out:

If you ever apply for a professional engineer licensure in another state/jurisdiction you MAY be required to take the Principles and Practice of Engineering examination again. Some state/jurisdictions may not honor the “early taking” of the Principles and Practice of Engineering examination prior to obtaining the requisite progressive engineering experience.


Their response was this:

I cannot give you the names of the states; however, when I meet with my counterparts around the country, they mention their laws will not allow for the early taking of the PE. You may contact individual licensure boards if you care to do so. Here is link from the NCEES website with the contact info:
