Running Back - Branden Oliver - 4.3. 10th Overall
Wide Receiver - Jarvis Landry - 3.9. 12th overall
Guard - Joel Bitonio - 10.9. 4th overall.
4-3 OLB - Anthony Barr - 7.0. 6th overall.
3-4 OLB - Khalil Mack - 23.0. 1st overall.
ILB - CJ Mosley - 11.7. 1st overall.
DT - Aaron Donald - 17.3. 2nd overall.
CB - Jason Verrett - 8.1. 4th overall.
This 2014 draft class was said to be loaded... And so far they have lived up to the billing. Really impressive. Didn't have a QB ranked too high, but across the board this draft class has been really impressive.
And it's interesting when you think about how different the draft process went for these guys. Oliver was an UDFA from Buffalo, same school as Mack, and flew under everyone's radar.
Landry was supposed to be too slow to be effective at this level and fell to the 2nd round, 63rd overall.
Verrett was knocked for his height, or lack there of, and dropped a little. Still was a 1st round pick, but people said if he was just 2 inches taller he would be a lock top 10 pick. He's showing out.
People were worried about Anthony Barr as a physical player. Athleticism and size was there, but was really raw. Some people had him dropping out of the 1st round and people were shocked when Minnesota took him 9th overall.
Mosley was always considered a top 10 player in the draft, but due to his position he dropped a little. And Mack has lived up to the billing. He and Mosley are big time defensive players.

I don't think Miami would have wasted a 2nd round pick if they didn't think he could be effective.

Alfred BLUE!!!
I honestly didn't expect him to jump up the depth chart like he did.
And let's not forget about Mr Jeremy Hill.
Also, if you were to ask which SEC QB would start first... AJ Mcaron, Johnny Football, Aaron Murry, or Zach Mettenburger? Not many would have said Mett, save LSU fans

Saints should have gone Cooks then Jarvis.
frick corners
His season has been insane. He's already one of the best players in the NFL

as much as I love Brandin Cooks, it definitely seems like Saints should have gone CB in Round 1, then traded up to snag Landry in Round 2 with that same 3rd round pick they lost for Cooks.
I mean Patrick Robinson has been playing well the past couple but he single handedly lost the Cleveland game….Probably would have beaten Detroit and Atlanta too

Do they do OL? Where is Bitonio?
Posted on 10/29/14 at 3:52 pm to harry coleman beast
Yea Mack is 1 of the highest rated players in the entire NFL. Only guys that have scored higher than Mack are Marshall Yanda, Cameron Wake, Vonn Miller, JJ Watt, and Muhammad Wilkerson.
That's it.
That's it.

Joel Bitonio, LG, CLE: +10.9
The entire Cleveland line (except for the wonder that is Joe Thomas) has taken a back step in recent weeks and Bitonio is no exception. Now that doesn’t mean he’s played poorly, but he’s not wowing as was.

They do OL... And Joel Bitonios ranked as the 4th OG, with a 10.9 grade. Not sure how I missed him. Will edit.

Its amazing how good Alex Mack is and how much we miss him. Havent been able to run the ball for shite since he went out.

God, I would have loved to have Mosley.
I love Cooks, but Mosley was exactly what I felt like we needed.
