Themes for "Falcon Crest", "Dynasty", "Dallas", and "Lifestyles of Rich and Famous", among others were written by LSU School of Music alumnus Bill Conti (who also wrote "Gonna Fly Now" - Rocky theme) Conti also conducted the orchestra at the Academy Award shows for years.
