Maybe for lunch, but no way would I venture into that part of the city after dark.

Classic old New Orleans type steakhouse.
Solid.
Decent menu, prices a bit high.
Nothing spectacular, but definitely a decent choice.

There is most probaly not a safer area in NOLA.
