At least to me, Miles does not seem like the type of coach who will sit the better player in order to give a less experienced, albeit more talented, player more playing time. In reference to the Jennings/Harris debate, Miles will play whoever he believes gives the team the best chance to win now, not next season. Miles believes Jennings gives the team the best chance to win. It also appears to me (from reading quotes from and hearing various player interviews and such) that the team has rallied around, supports and respects Jennings. Having said that, if Miles had not done a poor job of roster management at the QB position, we would not be having this debate. After Mett graduated, Rivers had dropped below a true freshman on the depth chart and we had no other scholarship QBs. It is inexcusable for a program like LSU that we don't have a capable QB at this point in time.
