Oh, and "I have super sonic speed but rather than trucking bad guys, I'm going to come to a complete stop and try to punch them so I can lose and we can stretch this episode another 20 minutes."

Please, lets not turn this into a Flash vs Arrow shite fest of a thread.
On topic, I do feel this season has been weaker in some areas than season 2, its still easily on par if not better than season 1 though. They've delved deeply into the characters this season which I think has been fantastic, but at the same time they've sacrificed too much of the fun comic book feeling season 2 had. They've just gone a little too heavy on the angst and darkness this season.
The Arrow/Flash crossover proved that Arrow is at its best when its being serious, but not overly grim and depressing. They can still have fun, lighthearted moments, without sacrificing the tone of the show they're going for.
