Aside from the lack of substance from the OP, you gotta admit, the GOP primaries/candidates for Prez are entertaining and must-see-TV:
--2008 capped it off by giving us the chicken hawk himself, John McCain, and, in a desperate attempt to woo women voters chaffing from Hillary's loss, the legendary Sarah Palin. From her 'nails on chalkboard' screech-talk, to her complete cluelessness on everything political, this gal gave SNL more satire pieces than they could ever wet dream.
--2012 was no slouch either. It started off with Herman Cain's '999' plan. Then came Newt with $2.50 gas. Not to be out done, Michelle 'Crazy-Eyes' Bachman threw her brain, err, hat into the fray(does anyone remember her 'Tea Party Response' to the SOTU address where she seemed to be staring at the ceiling?)The Aggies gave us Rick Perry and his stroke-like response to every question. And who could forget the Donald? Whether he intended to be a serious candidate or not, his 'money ultimatums' to the President, his search for the truth about the birthing process and how it is documented, and his mouth in general, was priceless.
The peanut gallery for 2016 is certainly shaping up to be promising. We have what is shaping up to be a certifiable nut in Ben Carson. The Pauls have been beating the war drums for some time now. Ted Cruz is in. If we could get a few more laughs in this next cycle, it wouldn't hurt a bit
