When you don't have all the information , very often it seems like things "don't add up." People in this society used to be able to deal better with such a condition.

Right...just trust what is told to you and don't ask questions
Logic tells me that crazy things happen occasionally. Logic tells me that pulling a stunt like this would be very sophisticated and impossible to pull off.
Logic also tells me that our government has done shady things in the past...things like intentionally giving people syphilis and not treating them. Heck this own administration orchestrated a gun-running operation that they knew would result in innocent people being killed.
It isn't illogical to ask questions and it isn't illogical to not blindly believe everything you are told
