Listen man, I have been a Miles supporter from day one, but you have to be beyond a "Miles apologist" (rant term), to not question WTF we were doing there. Also, after 3 quarters of ineffective QB play, why was there not at least a switch?
Before the season I was satisfied with Jennings, even after ULM, I said it would take some time, but I wanted him as a full starter. Also, that he should take the most reps to get comfortable throwing during SHSU and ULM. So I am not a Harris "put him in" guy from the jump, nor during the spring.
During that whole time, Miles kept talking about wanting Harris to get snaps, even during close games. Did not want to name Jennings the starter even after two games. Why, when we were 34-10 (offense 3 points), did we not put Harris in? I know we finally scored on the very next drive, but it mattered not. He himself, said he was going to play both, and not just the other in garbage time.
Miles can say what he wants, but you know the only reason Harris went in, was because Jennings couldn't go back in at the time.
