Many of our ancestors in the South used to own slaves. It was a cultural thing and it was the way they were raised. They were good people though.



It was wrong then and it is wrong now. The same is true for "discipline" that is taken to the level that Peterson used. It is child abuse, and it was child abuse 30-40 years ago. The fact that it used to be accepted is completely irrelevant.

the fact that we got over it should be accepted, people should stop trying to re-write history to suit their own own interpretation
