I think the show companies can create an impact but I don't think they control recruiting in any form or fashion. For instance, Andrew Wiggins and the Harrison Twins went against the show companies that sponsored their teams in high school.
Not sure if this has been discussed in this thread, but a kentucky site reported that Newman tweeted on Sunday that he just got off the phone with Blakeney and then the kid decommited the next day. Could there be a package deal in place? If so, you would think it's going to be a Kentucky-LSU battle

Unless you don't believe the things Meyer is saying in that article actually happened, I don't see how you can make that argument.
